Purses Restructured for Some Divisions

HCMP Media

As Hendry County Motorsports Park prepares for a huge weekend with both the limited winged sprints and late models in action, the management is still working with factors to make the track a viable entertainment venue for south Florida.

One of the key elements of stock car racing is having purses that are realistic. The following changes to the way purses at Hendry County Motorsports Park are paid are effective immediately. Late Models, Modifieds and Sprint Car are NOT affected in any way with these changes.

Four Cylinder Bombers, Eight Cylinder Bombers, all Mini Stock divisions and Pure Stocks will be paid purses as follows:
1) If there are 6 or less cars in the division drivers will race for trophies only.
2) If there are 7-10 cars the purse will be 60% of the full purse payout.
3) If there are 11 cars or more in the division, the full purse will be paid.

Street Stocks and Sportsman will be paid purses as follows:
1) If there are six cars or less in the division drivers will race for trophies only.
2) If there are 7-9 cars in the division the purse will be 75% of the full purse.
3) If there are 10 cars in the division the full purse will be paid.

The division that has the most cars running that night will mean a $50 bonus to the winning driver in that division.

The ownership, staff and management of Hendry County Motorsports Park are working hard to make this racing facility the best it can be. The changes that have already taken place are being noticed all over Florida.

We appreciate the support and input from car owners, drivers and crews and hope to continue to work with all of you to increase the cars and number of participants racing each week.
